Sindokh

These artworks are a combination of the design of the border of a carpet and a part of an Iranian painting of the Qajar period, and ideas for combining the two into a coherent artwork. The fundamental idea was designed by the creator of these artworks (Sindokh). The colouring of the background and the main component of each work is adjusted according to the new composition. In fact, the artist's main goal is to revive the authentic Iranian techniques by applying contemporary innovation to it.

Creating visual artwork, especially a painting and paying attention to its uniqueness by presenting new ideas and working with the world of colours and their symbolic meanings.

Before starting an artwork, I think for many days about the concept and how I can implement the idea as a collection of works. Then I start drawing until the drawn design is in complete harmony with what is in my mind and finally, I pay attention to the harmony of the design and colours both in terms of aesthetics and its symbolic and meaningful aspects. It may take months to do a job, or I may paint over a part of the job many times to get what I want. The attention and precision that I put on each work is important in the sense that in the end I present a painting that shows everything I had in mind, that's why the execution of a work may take months.

In my opinion, every finished painting shows a part of the outside world that is combined with my inner world. Art and especially working with colour is the soul of life for me.” Sindokh
